St. Mary of Nazareth is a large and growing parish with RE enrollment topping over 520 children and 41 catechists, and is designed for children from the age of three through high school. We are unique in that we have a total religious formation program which includes, in addition to our Youth Ministry program, a four year high school catechesis program. We have recently added a Junior Disciples youth ministry program for sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Our vacation bible school program numbers over 200 young people. We welcome and encourage parents as active partners in the religious education formation of our children.

As partners in the religious education formation program, we would like to share with you our Mission Statement, the foundation upon which we direct the activities of the RE program.

Mission Statement
Our religious education and formation program will build a Christian atmosphere of faith, love, and compassion.  We focus on the religious truths and Christian values taught to us by our Lord to help our youth integrate, act, and respond to the demands and challenges in the world today.

We acknowledge and appreciate that you, as parents and guardians, are the first and most important educator of your children.  The RE program offers you and your children many opportunities to grow in your faith.  In taking advantage of these opportunities you will find your life has been enriched.
